An abandoned house with nothing but the memories of a family who stayed here. There's no child to play on the swings. No kid to zip around in his bike. The rake's unused for sometime now. Even though they are not coming back, the house waits. The grass has grown and the ivy is making its way into the house. Is there really nobody home?

We initially planned this as part of a montage where we wanted to show a series of abandoned places. Where humans aren't present anymore but by their sheer absence, they have left behind such memories that they make their presence felt. Locations which are a character unto themselves and tell a melancholic story. Even though the story is a little depressing, we wanted the location to convey a certain warmth, as if, its waiting for its master/inhabitants to return. Like an eternal hope, but in vain. And if I may, something tragically happy. Sad yet cheerful.
